Baby’s Hand and Foot Prints :-
Capture the magic of your little one’s hands and feet forever by printing them onto a commemorative plate, tile or mug. Hand and footprints on ceramics is a wonderful reminder of how small your little ones once were, they make lovely gifts for all the family and a wonderful keepsake for you to bring out on their 18th Birthday!
Our ceramic paints are non-toxic and water based. Ask our friendly, creative staff for assistance. We can also create a clay imprint of your child’s hand or foot to create a unique and lasting memento.
Imprints are usually ready for collection about four weeks after the baby/toddler has provided his or her “creative input”. This reflects the fact that the clay has to be left to dry naturally, is fired, hand-painted and fired again in our kilns. Clay imprints are available at Hullabaloo by prior arrangement or on set Clay Imprint days. Check our calendar for future dates.
For those parents who are looking for something different or who cannot wait to have their child’s hands or feet preserved in clay forever, another fantastic option is to create painted hand or foot prints on pottery. By sponging some colour onto your child’s hand or foot and then printing onto any suitably-sized pottery, we can make an ever-lasting keepsake for you or as a special gift for family and friends.
We can also paint a message to personalise it further. These items make ideal presents for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Grandparents and Godparents, or to mark your child’s birthdays. This is available every day of the week at Hullabaloo.
Nurseries and Playgroups :-
Hullabaloo can visit Nurseries and Playgroups. We issue a letter to parents a few weeks before our visit, so they can choose the items they would like us to paint with the children. On the day the staff assist us with the hand and footprints, we then take the items away to paint on the chosen message, glaze and fire. We then return the ceramics to the nursery within 2 weeks for distribution.
Parent and Toddler Groups :-
We can also come to group sessions where we will help you to get the hand and footprints on the piece and then you can decorate to your hearts content! Again we then take the items away to be glazed and fired and will return them to the group leader within 2 weeks for distribution.
In your own home :-
Hullabaloo will also visit your home if you have a group of 6 ’painters’ or more. This could be 3 mums with 2 children each or 6 mums with 1 little one each. You may have an antenatal group that you are part of; this would be a great idea to keep the group going. You could even have an annual reunion to compare the changes. The ceramics we use are high quality Italian Bisque ware and the paints are non-toxic and washable.
When you have finished your masterpiece we then take it away to glaze and fire making the paint permanent and food safe. Items painted can be delivered to the party host within 2 weeks or can be picked up instore.
