I have had 3 great years at Rulabula, and have met some really cool people and great customers! I have to mention Cregg Community Group as they were always lots of fun! There have been lots of parties, and I’ve met so many children, but I have to say a special hello and a big thanks to, Cliona Kelly, Emily Coen, Joy Feehily, Rachel Hession, Sarah Kennedy and Clara Hewston who gave me lots of laughs!

Sabrina Waterhouse, who has been a regular assistant at Rulabula is now taking over the ship. I wish her the best of luck and continued success with the crazy and funny world of paint your own pottery!

I would like to say a big thank you to all of Rulabula’s customers, and hope you give Sabrina the same warm welcome as you gave me.

Rulabula is on holidays!

Rulabula is open on Saturday the 8th, 15th and 22nd of May from 12pm to 4pm (last painters should be in by 3pm…). Items painted on those dates will not be ready for collection until the 29th of May.

We are closed for annual holidays from the 6th of May until the 25th of May excluding pre booked parties (booked before the 5th of May), term time art classes and Saturday’s.

Art Classes for Children

Little Painter art classes investigate the fundementals of art - design decorating techniques and self-expression - demonstrated through FUN activities and the production of precious keepsakes.

We are now taking bookings for a 7 week programme starting on the 14th of April.

All our classes are limited to 8 participants per group which allows each student to receive individualized attention to insure their success in each project!

When: Wednesday afternoons 4pm 6 - 9 year olds

Wednesdays 5.15pm 10 - 14 year olds

Cost: €65 for 7 weeks

Happy Easter! Our Easter weekend opening hours are:

Thursday 1st April 11am to 5pm

Friday 2nd April 12pm to 4pm

Saturday 3rd April 12pm to 5pm

Easter Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday CLOSED

We will reopen on the 6th of April at 11am and normal opening hours will apply.

SO Sligo Food & Culture Festival

Rulabula is delighted to be taking part in SO Sligo Food & Culture Festival! We are running some foodie inspired workshops in Rulabula and Johnstons Court on the 20th & 21st of March. These workshops are going to be a little bit messy but fun! Make sure to book your place with us as spaces are limited. Our workshops are aimed at children between 6 - 14 years old, we are going to be painting some cups, plates and bowls to enjoy your favourite food and drinks in! Workshops will be held in Rulabula on Saturday the 20th from 2pm and in Johnstons Court on the 21st at 2pm. Workshops cost €7 per child and spaces are limited, so make sure to book your spot!
